In accordance with the existing health protocols in UK, kindly please note that:
You do NOT need a vaccine passport to visit the venue
Whilst we would encourage you to wear a face covering when indoors (unless you are exempt or when you are eating/drinking), it is NOT mandatory. Subject to availability, we can provide you with a standard disposable face mask on arrival at our registration desk.
The venue is maintaining industry approved shield measures including enhanced cleaning, increased ventilation and hand sanitation points throughout Please exercise personal responsibility.

Virtual platform for online attendance
All online delegates will have at their disposal a virtual platform offering maximum possible interactivity which will facilitate participation to the conference as well as communication with other delegates and exhibitors.
Available visual equipment for all presentations will be through power point presentation. The use of personal computers will not be feasible.
The entire conference area is accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you require any accessibility support, please inform the Conference Secretariat or the hotel reception or contact via email the Conference Secretariat prior to the Conference starting date.
Admission to Conference Sessions
Admission to conference sessions is strictly badge only. Please ensure that you are seated at least five minutes prior to the scheduled start time of each session and all mobile phones, smart phones and electronic devices are switched to silent or flight mode.
Should you have any questions or require assistance at the event, Conference Secretariat, BASEM staff and members of the Non-Executive Board will be present throughout the conference. Please contact a member of the team by visiting the reception desk.
CPD credits are being awarded by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK, the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM) and the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS) for a maximum of 12 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). All delegates are required to sign in at the registration desk to ensure that CPD credits are accounted for. Certificates will be issued after the Conference via email.
In the event of an emergency, please contact a staff member of the Venue, Conference Secretariat or the BASEM team located at the BASEM registration desk on the Ground floor. There will be first aiders amongst the venue staff on duty.
In line with our commitment to continuous improvement of conference and educational events, an evaluation form will be sent after the event. We would be grateful if you could spare 10 minutes of your time to provide feedback. Your comments are of great value and play an important role in the planning of the conferences and educational courses in the future.
If you do not wish to appear in the photographs or films, please inform the BASEM team at the registration desk.
Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the conference. The code will be available to all delegates at the reception desk.
Lunch and Refreshments
Lunch and other refreshment breaks as well as tea, coffee and water will be served in the Crush and Albert Hall. Please inform the Conference Secretariat or a member of the BASEM team of any other specific dietary requirements.
The conference dinner will be held on Thursday, May 26th 8.30 pm. The dress code for the dinner is black tie/formal. Prior to the conference dinner, a drink reception will be held at 7.45 pm.
If you require a taxi, the hotel concierge will be happy to assist you.
We cannot accept responsibility for any personal loss, accidents or damages to participants and/or accompanying persons. Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal insurance to cover any eventuality that may occur during the Conference.
